Why Regional Ministry?

Our initiative is designed to create a dynamic support system, fostering synergy among youth teams while building camaraderie among leaders. Youth are organized into Regional Youth Associations (RYAs) based on the ministerial regions of the Ontario Conference, ensuring support and resources are readily available while celebrating local youth ministry efforts.

    • To provide system of support

    • To create synergy amongst youth teams

      To provide comradery among youth leaders

    • To collaborate on major events & initiatives

    • To create connectivity to wider youth ministries

    • Spirituality: Youth week of prayer, retreats, regional camp mtg, etc

    • Social engagement & networking: picnics, games night, etc

    • Community outreach: Global Youth Day, Love Week, etc

    • Empowerment: mental health, social justice, career fair, etc

  • Each region generally has a leadership structure that includes:

    • President

    • Vice President

    • Admin VP

    • Communications VP

    • Compassion VP

    • Social VP

    • Youth Supervising Pastor

    Though each region may tailor their leadership team to meet specific regional needs.

Each RYA engages in a whirlwind of activities encompassing spirituality through retreats and youth week of prayer, social events like picnics and game nights, impactful community outreach during Global Youth Day, and empowering initiatives focusing on mental health, social justice, and careers.
