Compassion
Be the Hands & Feet of Jesus.
What is Compassion?
True practice lies in living out Jesus's gospel commission. Compassion Ministry embodies this calling by showing God’s love through selfless acts. Each action guides the weary towards hope and promise. Through kindness and support, we fulfill our spiritual duty and reflect the gospel’s heart.
-
To engage youth and young adults to live a lifestyle that does not allow for silence or inactivity in the midst of need, injustice, sadness, and suffering.
-
To empower youth and young adults to be the eyes, heart, hands, and feet of Jesus Christ by creating an inspirational, educational, and supportive environment with communities to show Compassion despite people’s differences and circumstances, as God has called us to do.
-
To make the Compassion Ministry part of the church DNA
To create training opportunities that will give education
To help youth and young adults to be involved in community service and implement practical application within their community
To use the compassion Ministry as an evangelistic tool to engage non-Adventist youth/young adults
To establish Compassion Ministry on the regional level
